Manuscripts should be sent online to Professor GOC Onyeze, Federal University of Technology Owerri, P.M.B 1526, Owerri, Nigeria. Email: gocbchm@yahoo.com or goconyeze@yahoo.com Manuscripts, written in English Language which should be concise and clear, should be forwarded. Originals of illustrative materials should be forwarded as well. When photographs are included, they should be on glossy print. All photographs will appear as black and white or coloured. Authors submitting a paper do so on the understanding that the work has not been published before and is not being considered for publication elsewhere. The submission of the manuscript by the author(s) implies that the author(s) automatically agree to assign exclusive copyright to the Journal if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication. Manuscripts should be typewritten, with double spacing and wide margins. Tables, illustrations, graphs (and their accompanying legends) should be an integral part of the text and should flow normally with the rest of the text. Graphs should be electronically plotted in MS Word or Excel or any other software that allows their formatting. Authors are to ensure that legibility of any part of the text (including legends) would not be lost when re-sized (downwards) to 2.48x3.00 (hxw). The first page should contain the title of the manuscript, name(s) of all the authors and their address(es). Where there are more than one author, the corrsponding author (and his/her e-mail) should be indicated. An abstract (of not more than 200 words) should follow the authors' names and addresses. This should adequately summarise the pertinent findings of the paper. The main body of the paper may be divided into (a) Introduction, (b) Materials and Methods, (c) Results, (d) Discussion, (e) Acknowledgement and (f) References. "c" and "d" may be combined for conciseness and clarity. If the research involves the use of human subjects, including collection of human blood or other human specimens, an Institutional ethical clearance document should be submitted with the manuscript. Alternatively, a clear statement should be made, in the 'Materials and Methods' section indicating that informed consent of the experimental subject(s) and/or of an appropriate ethical committee had been obtained. References are to be arranged in alphabetical order at the reference section after citation by name and year in the text. Full titles of papers cited should be included, and abbreviations of journals should conform to those of Biological Abstracts. Note the following examples:
